Mountain Bike Routes
Bottelary Hills MTB Trails were opened by the Bottelary Hills Conservancy in April 2011 and allow controlled access to the conservancy via dedicated, well-marked routes. The rolling hillsides feature vineyards, farmland, conservation areas and trails comprised of farm roads, jeep tracks and numerous singletracks. While never too technical there are challenging climbs and a variety of distances on offer for riders of all fitness levels. A Mediterranean climate prevails providing cold wet winters and hot dry summers.
Hiking in Jonkershoek
This nature reserve is home to the majestic Jonkershoek Mountains and parts of the Jonkershoek valley. Visitors may choose to explore one or both reserves, as they are in easy reach of each other. Various short walks are available on the reserve. Alternatively,the reserve offers four, more challenging, hikes ranging between 5.3km and 18km.
Horse Riding
Equine Sport Centre (also known as ESC), based in the Cape Winelands, Western Cape, is a premium horse riding facility dedicated to equestrian education and equine welfare. Located only 30 minutes from Cape Town and 15 minutes from Stellenbosch, ESC offers a prime location to enjoy time spent with horses and nature.

A large indoor play park with boutique gym gives parents the opportunity to drop kids for hours of supervised fun, while getting a quick workout in next door. Ipic Play offers educational fun, building and developing motor-skills in kids of all ages.
